My
'72 Schwinn Stingray was great but wanted a true BMX frame
and fork to handle all the abuse of daily riding at "The
Track."
Just the basics
and man what a indestructible ride! What is exceptional
about this is that the rear dropouts are perfect! Many Squarebacks are beat but the original quality/finish has lasted
after 35 years!
I soon found out that in racing you need a lighter bike unless
you are two to three years larger than your age. Retired
the bike in 1978 for racing and moved on toward my "Torker Kid" career
coined by my local bike shop that I rode to nearly everyday.
Thanks Dennis for all your help in my BMX days!
